Miguel is an advocate for youth involvement in politics and social activism. He previously served as Vice Chair, West Region Director, and National Director of Grassroots Outreach. At the local level, Miguel served on the Youth Advisory Board for Rep. Julia Brownley and founded a non-profit, First Chapter, that has distributed over 20,000 books and school supplies to underprivileged children. From 2013-2015, Miguel served on the state cabinet of the Junior Statesmen Foundation where he led activism efforts in Southern California. He is a National Hispanic Scholar, Chamber of Commerce Youth of the Year, and Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholar. Sharon Lin, Northeast Region Director


Sharon Lin is a rising senior at Stuyvesant High School. She serves as the National Finance Director to the Young Democrats of America High School Caucus, as well as the United States Ambassador to Youth for Enlightenment and Welfare (YEW), and international humanitarian organization. She was a past Northeast State Director of Activism for the Junior State of America, President of the New York State Technology Student Association, and worked alongside the Senator Stavisky for Re-election campaign. Keshan believes in involving youth in the political process and advocating for civic engagement. Engaged in his community, Keshan has worked under Sen. Bob Hertzberg during his successful campaign and has helped constituents throughout his internships at Sen. Hertzberg's and Rep. Brad Sherman's offices. Serving on the state cabinet of the Junior State of America, he has grown the number of Youth Advisory Boards all over Southern California, coordinated voter registration drives, and led other advocacy initiatives. Cole hails from San Antonio, Texas and currently resides in Fort Worth Texas, where he is a high school senior. In addition to serving as the South Central Region Director, Cole serves as the Texas Junior State Governor and Chapter President for the Junior State of America. He has been active in Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle Scout Award in 2013. Cole is also an usher at Arborlawn United Methodist Church, and is active in several student organizations such as Key Club and Girl Up International. Cole is an avid chorister singing with his school's choir, where he serves as Bass section leader. Aja serves as a Regional Director for the campaign and has been involved with the organization since March of 2015. Attending Union County Early College for high school, Aja obtained an Associates of Science Degree. She is now a first-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, double majoring in Biology and Political Science. Aja aspires to become an obstetrician or gynecologist and a United States Senator for the great state of north Carolina. She is very passionate about the campaign and what it stands. James Moseman, Great plains region director

James is an avid advocate for youth voice, and has taken active roles in policymaking in Nebraska. He is currently serving on the Nebraska Governor's Youth Advisory Council where he, and other students across Nebraska, provide the perspective of youth on policies directly to Governor Ricketts of Nebraska. James is also the Chair and Founder of Rep. Fortenberry's Youth Advisory Council. Julien Rosenbloom, Mid-Atlantic Region Director

Julien first became involved in politics and youth representation when he served on the Association for Trauma Outreach and Prevention's Board of Directors as Press and Media Coordinator. Currently, Julien is the Lieutenant Governor of Division 13 of the New Jersey District of Key Club International, an Advocacy Director at Redefy, President and CEP of Together We Are One, and a Board Member at the American Society of News Editors Student Advisory Board. He also lectures at Columbia University's spring and fall Splash programs on human rights and global politics and was a 2015 Student Diplomat to Mexico with the Student Diplomacy Corps. Sabah Hussain, Midwest Region Director

Sabah is an advocate for youth political participation, social activism, and grassroots change. She serves as a lead organizer in the Chicago Students Union and is also an enthusiastic supporter and Teen Advisor for Girl Up, a campaign under the United Nations and is the co-head of the Chicago Coalition. Working with Girl Up, Sabah has lobbied on Capitol Hill, served on panels at conferences, and has lead other fundraising and social campaigns. She is also a Youth Council Advisory Board Member for DoSomething.org, a board member of Kurt Summers Chicago Youth Council for Economic Development, and serves on Illinois’s state board of directors for High School Democrats of America. Locally, she is the president of her school’s buildOn and JSA chapter, and is a student council representative for her division.
